March 2021 Beauty Must-Haves

If you know me, you know I spend an exorbitant amount of time perusing beauty shops and testing out new products. I’ll admit that I have a bit of an addiction when it comes to treating myself to new beauty items and this addiction has only been enunciated during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since I spend so much time treating myself and feel like I have a pretty good sense of finding amazing products, I figured that I would add my thoughts to the blog in a monthly segment called “Beauty Must Haves” where I gush over products that I tried and love. I hope you enjoy!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (Dry Oil)

Nuxe Huile Podigieuse Florale from Nuxe.com ($42)

I discovered this French brand after I came across this beautiful bottle of pink dry oil. I was whisked away by the light, floral fragrance and was pleasantly surprised with how well it absorbed into my skin. If the scent and luxe feel of the oil weren’t enough to make it a must-have, then it’s multipurpose ability to be used on the face, body, and hair solidify its place on this list.

Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Vitamin C

Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster from Sephora.com ($21)

I’m in the market for a good Vitamin C serum, and this one caught my eye with a formula that boasts 10% pure vitamin C. Because the vitamin C is so fresh, the small bottle must be used within a week so I figured it might be served best as a treatment that I will do every once in a while, rather than something I will use regularly despite the fact that I’m in love with it. I noticed brighter skin immediately after the second use and softer forehead lines within a couple of days.

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter from Amazon.com ($8.99)

I fell in love with the Tree Hut’s sugar scrub last year, so decided that I would give their body butter a whirl. Despite its low price, I was surprised with how luxurious this formula looked and smelled. While it does take a little bit of time to absorb fully into the skin, I found that it was very long lasting and kept me moisturized until my next shower.

The Ordinary Silicone Primer

The Ordinary Silicone Primer from Sephora.com ($4.90)

I’ve been having a pretty hard time finding a primer that I’m crazy about. I’ve tried at least 4 in the past year with some costing over $50! However, none of them have compared to this simple and affordable primer from The Ordinary. It does an amazing job of enhancing my foundation by giving me a healthy and glowy base and for only $4.90, you can’t really beat the value.

Scalp Massager

Scalp Massager from Sephora.com ($10)

If you get one thing on this list, it absolutely has to be a scalp massager. Not only does this thing feel immaculate, but I swear that it has improved my scalp health. I have an embarrassingly dry scalp and have noticed a drastic improvement with my dandruff since I began use. Even if you don’t have a dry scalp, this is said to promote healthy hair growth!
