A Weekend In Valencia, Spain

After going to Paris and Barcelona for the holidays, my husband and I told ourselves that we were done with trips for a while. However, when we found out he had a 4-day weekend, we naturally had to take advantage of it. We knew we wanted to experience something new in Spain, but also wanted [...]

A Dreamy Parisian Christmas

A Dreamy Parisian Christmas

After spending only a few hours in Paris, it’s easy to see why it is one of the most romanticized cities in the world. As you walk down the streets you pass by well-dressed people nonchalantly watching the day go by in tranquil cafes, architecture that reads like a poem, and shop windows filled with [...]

My First Weekend in Madrid

My First Weekend in Madrid

As soon as I got off the train at the Madrid station, I quickly realized that the sleepy, tranquil side of Spain that I’ve grown used to while living in Andalucía for the past 9 months was far behind us. This is not to say Madrid doesn’t have Spanish charm but rather that, like any [...]

A Short Weekend in Seville, Spain

It is always mind blowing to think about how many cities exist in the world that I’ve never even heard of. They bustle and thrive with languages I don’t understand, customs unfamiliar to me, a plethora of new flavors, and sights I've only dreamt about. Until I moved to Spain last summer, Seville (or Sevilla [...]

The Majestic City of Ronda in 24 Hours

I have been to many spectacular places in my lifetime, but I don’t think I’ve been anywhere quite as fantastical as Ronda, Spain. Situated among the dramatic cliffs of the El Tajo Gorge, Ronda is a small city with a deep history, a plethora of restaurants and shops, a quaint charm, and storybook views that [...]

Sherry Tasting at Bodega Osborne

Sherry Tasting at Bodega Osborne

Just like champagne can only be classified as such if it comes from the Champagne region of France, sherry can only come from a small region called the Sherry Triangle in southern Spain. Lucky for my husband and I, we live just outside of this triangle and we were able to get our first taste [...]

Life Update : We Moved to Spain

When your husband (boyfriend at the time) randomly calls your phone one day and asks “Hey, do you want to move to Europe?” there is only one appropriate answer. And now, about a year later, I’m settling into my new life in Rota, Spain. While I certainly wasn’t planning on a worldwide pandemic to be [...]

Took my parents to see Sevilla for the past two days! It has been a year since I’ve been which is dumb because I live so close. I forget just how breathtaking it is and will be making a point to visit more often in the future. It was nice that since my parents are interested in history, they wanted to do a guided tour of the Alcazar and the Cathedral which was a completely new experience for me! The weather was so beautiful and I was able to snap so many stunning pictures of the scenery that I had trouble picking just 10 🥰 more to come later
